The band plays Afro-Brazilian grooves and from its base in Central Scotland, performs at home and abroad.  

Highlights have been parades in:

  • Barcelona
  • Dublin for Pride, 
  • performing in the streets and live on TV for Amsterdam’s Queen’s Day 

Festival, and opening festivals in Italy:

  • the Pennabilli International Busking Festival in Le Marche
  • Maratea Music Festival in southern Italy.


At home, Beat That are regular performers at rock and music festivals:

  • Belladrum,
  • International Women’s Day events,
  • anti-war and anti-violence-against-women marches,
  • Pride and other LGBT events.  

They have also played at :

  • galas,
  • fetes and fairs,
  • dinners,
  • weddings and funerals.
