Welcome to Beat That
Beat That is the longest-running female samba band in Scotland and the nation’s first all-women drumming group.

A 23-strong samba band, Beat That is based in Stirling, Central Scotland.

It all began with a drumming workshop held to mark International Women's Day in March 1992. The women were hooked, and Beat That was born.

In 2003 the band celebrated its 10th birthday with the launch of its first CD, "Ignited".
